Model Definition Variables

The $UNISIM Variable

Model units (1:inch, 25.4:mm)

Type: Numeric, Read-only

The $UNISIM variable contains the model units as defined in the questionnaire General Description / General Information section question #9 “Model units system”. All model linear values are in these units. Rotary values are in degrees.

The $VMDATE Variable

Model creation date

Type: String, Read-only

The $VMDATE variable contains the creation date of the model.

The $VMDBF Variable

$\textbf{{\char36}VMDBF}$

Model database file name

Type: String, Read-only

The $VMDBF variable contains the name of the model database file currently in use.

The $VMFILE Variable

$\textbf{{\char36}VMFILE}$

Model file name

Type: String, Read-only

The $VMFILE variable contains the full name of the model being used. This is the file name under which the model is stored in the database.
