Contouring Variables
The $ASSIST Variable
ASSIST status. (OFF,AIR,OXYGEN,ARGON or NITRGN) Type: Minor Word, Read/Write |
The $ASSIST variable contains the current ASSIST status. It has a value of OFF, AIR, OXYGEN, ARGON or NITRGN. Note that the value of this variable is a minor word, not a numeric minor code value.
The $CONHED Variable
Contouring head status. (UP or DOWN) Type: Minor Word, Read/Write |
The $CONHED variable contains the current HEAD status. It has a value of UP or DOWN. Note that the value of this variable is a minor word, not a numeric minor code value.
The $LASMOD Variable
Laser mode. (–1:?, 0:constant wave, 1:pulse) Type: Numeric, Read/Write |
The $LASMOD variable contains the current laser mode.
The $PCHMOD Variable
Hybrid punch mode (0:punch, 1:contouring) Type: Numeric, Read/Write |
The $PCHMOD variable is valid for hybrid punch/
contouring machines. It indicates the machining mode currently in effect.
The $PFREQ Variable
Laser pulse frequency Type: Numeric, Read/Write |
The $PFREQ variable contains the current laser pulse frequency. If the frequency has not been set then the value will be $NULL.
The $POWER Variable
Machine power. (ON or OFF) Type: Minor Word, Read/Write |
The $POWER variable contains the current POWER status. It has a value of ON or OFF. Note that the value of this variable is a minor word, not a numeric minor code value.
The $PWIDTH Variable
Laser pulse width Type: Numeric, Read/Write |
The $PWIDTH variable contains the current laser pulse width. If the width has not been set then the value will be $NULL.
The $SHUTTR Variable
Laser shutter status. (ON or OFF) Type: Minor Word, Read/Write |
The $SHUTTR variable contains the current SHUTTR status. It has a value of ON or OFF. Note that the value of this variable is a minor word, not a numeric minor code value.
The $TORCH Variable
Cutting mode (ON or OFF) Type: Minor Word, Read/Write |
The $TORCH variable contains the current TORCH status. It has a value of ON or OFF. Note that the value of this variable is a minor word, not a numeric minor code value.
The $WATTS Variable
Laser power (watts) Type: Numeric, Read/Write |
The $WATTS variable contains the current laser power setting measured in watts. If the power has not been set then the value will be $NULL.
