NCCS NCLCAM to Icam Post Interface Documentation

Overview

The NCLCAM Binary CLDATA Interface kit is designed to accommodate differences in syntax between NCCS' and ICAM's post processing lanugages. Although CAM-POST can read a NCLCAM cl file, some of the post processor commands used by NCLCAM do not match the required CAM-POST syntax. Macros in the "kit.mac" file are designed to convert post processor commands from NCLCAM to CAM-POST format.

At present, this interface kit only removes the 7400 class header record present in all NCLCAM binary files (which is not recognized by CAM-POST).

The NCLCAM Binary CLDATA Interface kit is an optional program product. You must be licensed to use this interface via a "ncl" or "xcl" option in the ICAM license file. Attempting to use the NCLCAM binary input format on an unlicensed system will result in the message:

"System not licensed for NCLCAM binary cldata"
