Intergraph to Icam Post Interface Documentation

Overview

The INTERGRAPH Interface Kit is designed to accommodate differences in syntax between Intergraph's and ICAM's postprocessing languages. Intergraph APT commands are input to CAD-APT and CAM-POST. See CAM-POST chapter "Post- processor Vocabulary" for more information on CAM-POST supported syntax.

Post-Processor Commands Conversion

The kit.mac file makes the following changes to the CL output:

• The CLAMP/n has been changed to CLAMP/XAXIS,n
• CUTCOM has the word OSETNO added before the offset number
• CUTCOM/PLUS has been changed to CUTCOM/ON,LENGTH
• CYCLES have been modified to add the DEPTH word
• The extra number in the LOADTL statement has been removed
• MODE/_AXIS has been changed to CLAMP/OFF,_AXIS
• The extra number in the ORIGIN statement was removed
• The ROTATE statement was reordered
• The TURRET was stripped of nonstandard words
