Installation and Upgrade
This document describes the Icam Productivity Tools installation and upgrade procedures.
“Licensing Overview” describes the various types of licensing available from Icam.
“IcamID Utility” describes the IcamID utility, which provides tools to obtain the Icam system ID, test connectivity with license servers, locate servers on the local LAN, and perform other administrative tasks.
“License Server Installation” describes the steps needed to install the Icam License Server when using floating licenses. Skip this section if using nodelocked or cloud licenses.
“Icam Productivity Tools Installation” describes the steps needed to install V27 Icam Productivity Tools and Icam Integration Tools.
“Installation Content” describes the contents of the installation and application data directories.
“License Manager” describes the Icam License Manager utility, which allows viewing license availability, managing the client computer list, and configuring license server options.
“Database Upgrade Procedure” describes the steps needed to upgrade the contents of V26 and earlier Icam databases to the new V27 release.
